Junior Laravel Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Laravel Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior developers in coding, managing, and improving our company’s Laravel-based applications and websites.

Job Details

As a Junior Laravel Developer, your duties will include interpreting and analyzing project specifications, writing clean, secure, and efficient codes, and testing and troubleshooting the Laravel applications and databases.

Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of the Laravel framework and the willingness to learn and improve continuously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing new features and functionality for Laravel-based applications
• Help maintain the existing codebase and troubleshoot bugs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code in line with the Laravel framework
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment
• Collaborate with the team to design and launch new features
• Integrate data storage solutions, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Adhere to best practices in PHP and Laravel development
• Work closely with the team to optimize the performance of the platform

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years proven work experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and Laravel’s ecosystem
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable PHP code
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Knowledge of fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
