Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Laravel Developer to join our team. In this role, you would work on more complex tasks and would mentor junior software developers.
Job Details
As a mid-level developer, your duties will include interpreting and analyzing project specifications, writing clean, secure, and efficient codes, and testing and troubleshooting the Laravel applications and databases.
Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver, one that writes high-quality, functional and optimised code requiring little or no changes and also the willingness to learn and improve continuously.
- Assist in designing and implementing new features and functionality for Laravel-based applications
- Design and develop complex features and components of the software.
- Design and develop sensitive features and components of the software.
- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing.
- Provide constructive feedback to peers and receive feedback on their code.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices to help team members grow professionally.
- Break down business requirements into specific and smaller tasks.
- Participate in the planning and design of new features and applications.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years proven work experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable PHP code and strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
- Advanced understanding of database engines.
- Advanced proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
