We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist that will be focused on understanding market needs and ensuring that the product messaging aligns with customer challenges and company goals, thereby enabling sales teams and supporting product growth
Job Details
Product Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for all product launches, feature updates, and other product-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, customer success, and marketing) to ensure successful launches, from concept to execution.
- Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate SHR products in the B2B SaaS market.
- Manage product launch timelines, ensuring all teams are aligned and meeting key deliverables.
Product Messaging & Positioning:
- Create compelling product messaging that resonates with target customer segments, addressing their pain points and needs.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customer personas, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to shape product positioning.
- Work closely with the product management team to translate technical features into customer-focused benefits and ensure alignment across all marketing materials.
Sales Enablement:
- Equip the sales team with effective tools and resources, including product collateral, sales decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive analysis, and objection-handling documents.
- Provide training and support to sales teams to help them understand product positioning, target markets, and how to effectively communicate the product’s value.
- Collaborate on sales strategies that drive pipeline growth, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct market research to stay on top of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to ensure our products are positioned effectively.
- Maintain a competitive analysis framework to regularly assess competitor products and go-to-market strategies.
- Continuously gather feedback from customers, sales, and customer success teams to refine messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies.
Content Creation & Demand Generation Support:
- Collaborate with content marketing, demand generation, and other marketing teams to create compelling marketing materials, such as blogs, eBooks, webinars, whitepapers, and landing pages, that align with product positioning and customer needs.
- Work with demand generation to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
- Manage the development of case studies and customer stories to highlight the success and impact of SHR’s products.
Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and measure the performance of product marketing initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement efforts.
- Use data-driven insights to refine messaging, improve campaign effectiveness, and enhance sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on product marketing performance, key insights, and recommendations for growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. (MBA is a plus)
- 4-7 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS products, customer buying journeys, and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in launching products and developing go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and product management platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the tech or software industry, specifically B2B SaaS.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and demand generation.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms and competitive analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Crayon).
