You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company’s behalf.
Job Details
- Communications Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with SHR's mission, values, and business goals.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal and external touchpoints, including digital, print, social media, and product collateral.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure visual branding is cohesive and effectively communicates our brand identity.
- Manage and evolve brand guidelines to maintain consistency across marketing campaigns, product launches, and all communications.
- Media Relations & PR Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated communications strategy that enhances brand awareness and supports business growth.
- Develop and manage external communications, including press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and speeches.
- Oversee public relations efforts, including relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry analysts.
- Proactively identify and secure media coverage opportunities, ensuring positive and impactful representation of SHR
- Content Creation & Thought Leadership:
- Develop compelling content that communicates our product offerings, thought leadership, and market positioning, including blog posts, case studies, white papers, and social media content.
- Work closely with the leadership team to create and promote executive thought leadership through opinion pieces, interviews, and speaking engagements at industry events.
- Collaborate with the product marketing and demand generation teams to create content that supports lead generation, customer engagement, and product launches.
- Media Relations & Crisis Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and analysts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring that responses are timely, accurate, and aligned with the company's messaging.
- Develop and implement crisis communications plans to manage any potential reputational risks and ensure transparent communication during sensitive situations.
- Internal Communications:
- Work with HR and executive leadership to develop internal communication strategies that align with the company's culture and values.
- Create internal messaging and employee engagement initiatives that keep staff informed and aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Brand Monitoring & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor brand sentiment, media coverage, and market positioning through media monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision).
- Track and report on the effectiveness of branding and communications campaigns, using key metrics such as brand awareness, engagement, and media mentions.
- Provide actionable insights to adjust strategies based on performance and evolving market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or public relations, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and communications strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft clear and compelling messaging for various audiences.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity in a B2B SaaS context.
- Experience managing public relations and securing media coverage in relevant industry publications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation skills and experience working with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in using media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Google Analytics).
- Experience in communications and brand reputation management.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies, especially within a B2B SaaS landscape.
- Familiarity with industry-specific media and influencers in the tech or SaaS sectors.
