Job Summary

As Technical Recruiter, you will be required to build an effective talent pipeline for primarily technical roles within the company and ensure the shortest possible time to fill vacancies. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, selecting, and presenting suitable candidates for all technology positions, while collaborating with Hiring Managers to set realistic technical requirements for each role.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled across the business.  

  • Work with other stakeholders to build a robust talent pipeline for the business. 

  • Continuously improve the selection process, talent pipeline, hiring timelines, and the quality of hires, and provide periodic report on same. 

  • Monitor the talent lifecycle from hire to confirmation to ensure retention of good hires. 

  • Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions. 

  • Identify the most effective methods for attracting, recruiting, and selecting candidates. 

  • Draft recruitment advertisements, posts and/or ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions. 

  • Select one or more placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process when necessary. 

  • Proactively identify qualified candidates through CV reviews, first-level screening, and other forms of communications, and connecting them with hiring managers. 

  • Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications. 

  • Vet credentials of potential employees. 

  • Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates. 

  • Maintain a positive presence and network in the technology community and marketplace. 

  • Attend job fairs and industry conferences; run company booth at job fairs. 

  • Collaborate with other members of the HR team to fill other non-technical roles across the business when required. 

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest talent acquisition trends and best practice, particularly within the tech industry. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

  • Uphold the company’s brand, core values, and culture at all times. 

Success in the role will be measured by:

  • Alignment with and embodiment of SeamlessHR culture and core values. 

  • Being proactive, responsive, communicating clearly, and providing regular and timely updates as required. 

  • Knowledge of and ability to use SeamlessHR software to run recruitment processes within the first one month of resumption. 

  • Develop a framework for the talent pipeline within the first month of resumption. 

  • Fill vacancies within the defined timelines. 

  • Good quality of hires measured by a minimum of 90% confirmation rate. 

  • Completing projects/tasks within defined timelines. 

  • Following through with personal learning and development plans. 

  • Knowledge of trends in the SaaS space, especially with HR tech-related developments. 

  • Being innovative and able to implement creative talent acquisition strategies, while promoting SeamlessHR culture and core values. 

Job Experience

  • A first degree from a reputable university; relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage. 

  • Up to four years of technical recruitment experience. 

  • Strong understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills. 

  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment methods and global best practice. 

  • Working knowledge of applicable local labour laws and global best practice. 

  • Strong attention to details. 

  • Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. 

  • Great interpersonal and collaboration skills across all levels within the organisation. 

  • Good presentation and facilitation skills. 

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite. 

  • Comfortable using software to run recruitment processes. 

  • Ability to challenge ideas, take initiative, and work proactively with minimal supervision. 

  • Ability to act professionally in all circumstances and with poise. 

  • A strong commitment to personal development and growth.
