Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation processes. You will work closely with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across our platforms.
Job Details
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) for efficient and secure software delivery.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Ensure observability through centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Datadog, etc.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud, infrastructure, and deployment processes, including secret management, IAM policies, and network security.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define DevSecOps practices and support staging, QA, and production environments.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for system reliability and availability (SLA/SLOs).
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, or other major cloud providers).
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Experience with secret management (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Experience with cost monitoring and optimization in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of service mesh (e.g., Istio) and API gateways.
- Contributions to open source projects or DevOps communities.
