Job Summary

The Embedded Finance Sales Account Executive owns revenue generation for mid-to-large B2B Payroll Financing deals, with full accountability for pipeline creation, deal structuring, and closure. The role is responsible for consistently closing high-value financing transactions that directly drive Embedded Finance revenue growth. This is a hunting, quota-carrying, senior commercial role for a proven closer who can sell at the C-suite level-engaging CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs to originate and execute complex B2B finance deals. The Account Executive will lead end-to-end deal execution, from opportunity qualification through credit structuring, internal approvals, disbursement, and activation. Operating within a disbursement-first go-to-market model, the role requires deep commercial judgment, strong financial acumen, and the ability to position payroll data and recurring payroll activity as the primary credit anchor - rather than traditional physical collateral. Payroll Financing is sold as a core Embedded Finance product, not an add-on. Success in this role is measured by closed revenue, deal velocity, disbursement volume, and sustained payroll-driven financing activity across a growing portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers.

Job Details

  • Originate & Close Deals – Drive mid-to-large Payroll Financing transactions from opportunity to disbursement. 
  • C-Suite Engagement – Partner with CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs on payroll liquidity, cashflow timing gaps, and employee impact. 
  • Enable Payroll Adoption – Promote payroll disbursement or payer adoption as a prerequisite for financing. 
  • Ensure Disbursement Completion – Monitor and guide customers to complete salary disbursements to unlock financing. 
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Implementation, Finance, and SaaS teams to close deals efficiently. 
  • Full Deal Ownership – Manage deals end-to-end, beyond contract signing successful disbursement. 
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management – Maintain a robust, realistic Payroll Financing pipeline and revenue forecast. 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of quota-carrying experience in B2B finance, enterprise sales, structured lending, or commercial credit roles 
  • Demonstrated track record of closing large-ticket B2B deals, with evidence of complex deal ownership from origination through close 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to lead high-stakes commercial conversations with CEOs, CFOs, and senior finance leaders 
  • Deep understanding of cashflow-based lending, credit fundamentals, and risk-return trade-offs in B2B financing environments 
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and convert a high-value pipeline, meeting or exceeding revenue and disbursement targets 

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling or structuring products within fintech, banking, payroll, or enterprise SaaS environments 
  • Prior exposure to employer-level financing, payroll-linked credit, or embedded finance products 
  • Familiarity with data-driven credit decisioning and non-collateralized lending models
